P2L Playhouse Privacy Policy

P2L Playhouse LLC (“P2L Playhouse,” “P2L,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the privacy of the families we serve. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you visit www.p2lplayhouse.com (the “Site”), submit an inquiry or tour request, communicate with us, or provide information in connection with enrollment or childcare services where this Policy is provided to you.

 

This Policy includes a Nevada Consumer Health Data Notice. It does not replace P2L’s enrollment agreement, Parent Handbook, media-release form, or any separate notice provided by a third-party service.

 

1. Information We Collect

 

Depending on how you interact with P2L, we may collect the following categories of information:

 

    ●    Contact and inquiry information: A parent or guardian’s first and last name, email address, telephone number, reason for contacting us, and message contents.

    ●    Child and family information: Information a parent or guardian chooses to provide about a child, such as age, date of birth, desired start date or schedule, enrollment interest, and other details included in an inquiry.

    ●    Tour and enrollment information: Tour date and time, appointment details, enrollment forms, authorized pickup and emergency-contact information, and records needed to evaluate or provide requested preschool or childcare services.

    ●    Communications: Emails, text messages, telephone-call details, form submissions, and records of our responses.

    ●    Payment and transaction information: Billing, payment, subsidy, or tuition-related information when needed to complete enrollment or administer an account. Payment-card information may be handled directly by a payment processor rather than stored by P2L.

    ●    Device and website-use information: Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser and device type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, approximate location derived from an IP address, dates and times of visits, and interactions with the Site.

    ●    Cookie and similar-technology information: Identifiers and activity information collected through cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, or similar technologies used for website operation, security, analytics, and, when enabled, advertising measurement.

    ●    Photos, videos, testimonials, or artwork: Materials provided by a parent or guardian or used with appropriate permission, including a valid media authorization when required.

    ●    Health and safety information: Information needed to care for an enrolled child safely and meet legal or licensing responsibilities, as described in Section 12, the Nevada Consumer Health Data Notice.

 

Please do not place Social Security numbers, financial-account numbers, medical records, or detailed health information in the Site’s general contact or tour-request forms. We will provide an appropriate method for submitting sensitive enrollment information when needed.

 

2. How We Collect Information

 

We may collect information:

 

    ●    directly from parents, guardians, prospective families, and authorized representatives;

    ●    automatically from a visitor’s browser or device;

    ●    through service providers that support our Site, tour scheduling, communications, enrollment, school administration, payment processing, analytics, or advertising;

    ●    from a child’s authorized healthcare provider or other authorized source when a parent or guardian directs or permits the disclosure; and

    ●    from government agencies, subsidy administrators, or other sources as permitted or required by law.

 

If you submit a P2L inquiry or lead form hosted by Facebook, Instagram, or another third-party platform, that platform may collect the information under its own privacy policy before providing it to P2L.

 

3. How We Use Information

 

We may use personal information to:

 

    ●    respond to questions and requests;

    ●    schedule and manage preschool tours;

    ●    communicate about programs, availability, tuition, enrollment, events, and services;

    ●    process and administer applications, enrollment, tuition, subsidies, and family accounts;

    ●    provide safe, appropriate preschool and childcare services;

    ●    communicate with parents and guardians about a child’s care and school experience;

    ●    operate, maintain, personalize, analyze, and improve the Site and our services;

    ●    measure the effectiveness of outreach and advertising;

    ●    prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents, and other harmful activity;

    ●    protect the rights, safety, and property of children, families, employees, P2L, and others; and

    ●    comply with childcare licensing rules, recordkeeping duties, court orders, and other legal obligations.

 

4. Cookies, Analytics, and Online Advertising

 

The Site and its service providers may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site functioning, remember preferences, understand Site traffic and performance, protect the Site, and measure outreach or advertising.

 

Website-hosting, analytics, and advertising providers may collect identifiers and information about online activity over time and across different websites or online services. P2L does not intentionally provide children’s health information or other consumer health data to analytics or advertising providers for targeted advertising.

 

You may control or delete cookies through your browser settings and, when displayed, the Site’s cookie-preference tool. Blocking certain cookies may affect Site functionality. The Site is not currently designed to respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals because there is no uniform industry standard for those signals.

 

5. How We Disclose Information

 

We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients for the purposes described in this Policy:

 

    ●    Service providers and online partners: Companies that provide website hosting, security, tour scheduling, email or text delivery, school-management or family-communication tools, cloud storage, payment processing, analytics, advertising support, and professional services. Vendors acting as processors for P2L are authorized to handle information only as needed to provide their services, subject to applicable agreements and law. Analytics and advertising providers may also process device identifiers and online-activity information under their own privacy notices.

    ●    Government and regulatory authorities: Childcare licensing bodies, public-health or safety authorities, law enforcement, courts, subsidy administrators, or other agencies when permitted or required by law.

    ●    Healthcare and emergency personnel: When reasonably necessary to protect a child’s health or safety or provide requested care.

    ●    Professional advisers and insurers: Lawyers, accountants, auditors, consultants, and insurance providers when reasonably necessary to protect or administer P2L’s operations.

    ●    Parties involved in a business transaction: A successor or potential successor in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to applicable law.

    ●    Other parties at your direction: When a parent, guardian, or authorized representative asks or authorizes us to make a disclosure.

 

We may also disclose information that has been aggregated or de-identified so that it does not reasonably identify an individual.

 

6. Sale of Personal Information and Mobile Data

 

P2L does not sell or rent personal information to data brokers or other third parties for money, and P2L does not sell consumer health data.

 

We do not share mobile telephone numbers, SMS opt-in information, or text-message consent with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may provide this information to vendors that help us deliver messages on our behalf, but only as necessary to provide those services.

 

Nevada residents may submit a verified request directing us not to sell covered information, even though we do not currently engage in such sales, by using the contact information in Section 13.

 

7. Email and Text Communications

 

If you provide your mobile telephone number and affirmatively opt in, you consent to receive SMS or text messages from P2L Playhouse at the number you provided. Messages may include responses to inquiries, tour and enrollment reminders, school or account updates, billing notices, safety communications, and, if you separately agree, promotional messages. Consent to receive promotional text messages is not a condition of enrollment or purchase.

 

Message frequency varies, and recurring messages may be sent. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of future text messages. After you reply STOP, we may send one confirmation message and will then stop text messages from that messaging program unless you opt in again. P2L does not sell or share your personal information, mobile telephone number, SMS opt-in information, or text-message consent with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may provide limited information to communications vendors solely as necessary to deliver and support P2L’s messages.

 

8. Data Retention

 

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to respond to inquiries, administer enrollment and childcare services, maintain required childcare and business records, resolve disputes, protect safety, enforce agreements, and comply with law. Retention periods vary based on the type of information and applicable legal, licensing, insurance, accounting, and operational requirements.

 

When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete it, de-identify it, or securely dispose of it. Information may remain temporarily in backups and may be retained when law permits or requires it.

 

9. Information Security

 

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. We limit access to sensitive information to employees and service providers who reasonably need it for authorized purposes. However, no website, electronic transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

 

10. Your Privacy Choices

 

Subject to applicable law and appropriate identity verification, you may ask us to:

 

    ●    confirm whether we maintain personal information about you or your child;

    ●    provide access to certain personal information;

    ●    correct inaccurate information;

    ●    delete certain information;

    ●    stop promotional communications;

    ●    withdraw a consent, where processing depends on consent; or

    ●    opt out of a sale of covered information.

 

A parent or legal guardian may make an appropriate request concerning a minor child. Some requests may be limited by childcare licensing, health and safety, billing, insurance, legal-hold, recordkeeping, or other legal requirements. We will not unlawfully discriminate against anyone for exercising a privacy right.

 

To make a request, use the contact information in Section 13. Please do not include medical details or copies of identity documents in your initial email. We may contact you to verify your identity, authority, and the scope of the request.

 

Parents or guardians may also contact us regarding a child’s photograph, video, artwork, or testimonial. We will address the request in accordance with the applicable authorization, agreement, and law.

 

11. Children’s Privacy

 

The Site is intended for parents, guardians, and other adults and is not designed for children to use independently. We do not knowingly collect personal information online directly from a child under 13 without authorization or verifiable parental consent when required. Information about a child submitted by a parent or legal guardian is treated as information provided by that adult.

 

Children under 13 should not submit forms or other information through the Site. If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to us without appropriate parental involvement, please contact us so that we can review and delete it as required.

 

12. Nevada Consumer Health Data Notice

 

This section supplements the rest of this Policy and applies to “consumer health data” covered by Nevada law. In this section, “consumer” includes a Nevada resident or a person whose consumer health data is collected in Nevada, as applicable. A parent or legal guardian may exercise applicable rights for a minor child, subject to verification.

 

Categories of Consumer Health Data We May Collect

 

When reasonably necessary to evaluate enrollment, provide requested childcare, protect a child, or comply with law, P2L may collect:

 

    ●    allergy, dietary-restriction, health-condition, illness, symptom, and diagnosis information;

    ●    medication, treatment, care-plan, and emergency-response information;

    ●    immunization, physician, healthcare-provider, and emergency-care information;

    ●    disability, developmental, behavioral, social-emotional, accommodation, and support information;

    ●    injury, incident, illness, medication-administration, and other health or safety records created during care; and

    ●    related information a parent, guardian, healthcare provider, or authorized person communicates to P2L.

 

P2L does not intentionally collect genetic data through the Site. We do not use photographs, videos, voice recordings, or other media to create biometric identifiers.

 

Sources of Consumer Health Data

 

We may receive consumer health data from:

 

    ●    a parent, guardian, or authorized representative;

    ●    the child, when appropriate in the course of care;

    ●    healthcare providers or other caregivers with appropriate authorization;

    ●    P2L employees through observations, incident reports, care records, and communications;

    ●    school-administration, family-communication, cloud-storage, or related service providers acting for P2L; and

    ●    government, licensing, public-health, subsidy, or emergency authorities as permitted or required by law.

 

Purposes and Manner of Processing

 

P2L may collect, access, record, organize, store, review, update, use, transmit, disclose, and delete consumer health data as reasonably necessary to:

 

    ●    determine whether and how P2L can safely provide requested childcare services;

    ●    protect a child’s health and safety;

    ●    accommodate allergies, disabilities, developmental needs, dietary restrictions, or care plans;

    ●    administer or document medication and respond to illness, injury, or an emergency;

    ●    communicate with parents, guardians, authorized caregivers, and appropriate personnel;

    ●    maintain accurate enrollment, attendance, incident, medication, health, and licensing records;

    ●    comply with legal, regulatory, public-health, insurance, and childcare-licensing requirements; and

    ●    establish, exercise, or defend legal claims and protect against fraud or security threats.

 

We collect and use consumer health data with affirmative, voluntary consent when required or to the extent reasonably necessary to provide preschool or childcare services requested by a parent or guardian.

 

Categories of Consumer Health Data We May Share

 

P2L may share the categories of health data listed above only as reasonably necessary for an authorized purpose, to provide requested care, with appropriate consent, or as permitted or required by law.

 

Categories of Recipients

 

Consumer health data may be shared with:

 

    ●    authorized P2L administrators, teachers, and employees who need the information to provide safe and appropriate care;

    ●    processors and contractors that support enrollment, school administration, family communications, secure record storage, information technology, or similar operations;

    ●    healthcare providers, emergency responders, authorized caregivers, or other persons involved in a child’s care;

    ●    childcare licensing, public-health, law-enforcement, judicial, subsidy, or other government authorities when permitted or required by law;

    ●    insurers and professional advisers when reasonably necessary and legally permitted; and

    ●    another person or entity at the direction of, or with appropriate authorization from, a parent, guardian, or consumer.

 

P2L does not sell consumer health data. P2L does not knowingly permit a third party to collect consumer health data over time and across different websites or online services. General Site activity may be collected by website, analytics, or advertising providers as described in Section 4, but P2L does not intentionally disclose consumer health data to those providers for targeted advertising.

 

Nevada Consumer Health Data Rights

 

Subject to Nevada law and identity verification, a consumer or the verified parent or legal guardian of a minor may request that P2L:

 

    ●    confirm whether P2L is collecting, sharing, or selling consumer health data concerning the consumer;

    ●    provide a list of third parties with whom P2L has shared or sold that consumer health data;

    ●    allow review of, or correction to, applicable consumer health data;

    ●    cease collecting, sharing, or selling applicable consumer health data; or

    ●    delete applicable consumer health data.

Do not include medical details or identity documents in an unsecured initial email. We will contact you to authenticate the request and, when applicable, confirm your authority to act for a child.

 

We will respond without undue delay and within the time required by law. Under Nevada’s consumer health data law, this is generally within 45 days after authentication, subject to a permitted extension. We will process an authenticated deletion request within the applicable legal period, generally 30 days, subject to legally permitted treatment of backup systems and other applicable requirements.

 

Withdrawing consent or requesting that P2L stop processing information that is necessary for safe, lawful childcare may affect our ability to provide the requested service. P2L will not unlawfully discriminate against a consumer for exercising a protected right.

 

Appeals

 

If P2L refuses to act on a Nevada consumer health data request, you may appeal by emailing gail@p2lplayhouse.com with the subject line Privacy Appeal or by mailing an appeal to the address in Section 13. Include the date and general nature of the original request, but do not include sensitive health details in an unsecured email. We will respond to an appeal in writing within the time required by Nevada law. If an appeal is denied, our response will include the reasons and contact information for the Nevada Office of the Attorney General.

14. Third-Party Sites and Services

 

The Site may link to social-media platforms, childcare resources, subsidy programs, or other third-party websites and services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, not this Policy. We encourage you to review those notices before providing information.

 

15. Changes to This Policy

 

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised Policy on the Site and update the “Last Updated” date. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice on the Site, by email, or through another appropriate method. Before materially changing our collection, use, or sharing of consumer health data in a manner that requires consent, we will provide the notice and obtain the consent required by applicable law.
